Formation of Heteropolynuclear Lanthanide Complexes.

Ligands L1 and L2, respectively based on a cyclam and a cross-bridged cyclam scaffold functionalized at N1 and N8 by 6-phosphonic-2-methylene pyridyl groups, are described.

Expanding the Scope of Pyclen-Picolinate Lanthanide Chelates.

A family of three picolinate pyclen-based ligands, previously investigated for the complexation of Y3+ and some lanthanide ions (Gd3+, Eu3+), was studied with 161Tb and 177Lu in view of potential radiotherapeutic applications.

Unexpected Trends in the Stability and Dissociation Kinetics of Lanthanide(III) Complexes.

We report a detailed study of the thermodynamic stability and dissociation kinetics of lanthanide complexes with two ligands containing a cyclen unit, a methyl group, a picolinate arm, and two acetate pendant arms linked to two nitrogen atoms of the macrocycle in either cis (1,4-H3DO2APA) or trans (1,7-H3DO2APA) positions.

Tyrosine conjugation methods for protein labelling.

Over the last two decades, the development of chemical biology and the need for more defined protein conjugates have fostered active research on new bioconjugation techniques. In particular, a wide range of biorthogonal labelling strategies have been reported to functionalise the phenol side chain of tyrosines (Tyr).

FDG-PET/CT, a Promising Exam for Detecting High-Risk Myeloma Patients?

Multiple myeloma (MM) is a haematological neoplasm characterized by a clonal proliferation of malignant plasma cells in the bone marrow. MM is associated with high morbidity and mortality and variable survival, which can be very short for some patients but over 10 years for others.

Immuno PET in Multiple Myeloma-What? So What? Now What?

Despite constant progress over the past three decades, multiple myeloma (MM) is still an incurable disease, and the identification of new biomarkers to better select patients and adapt therapy is more relevant than ever.

Usefulness of FDG-PET/CT-Based Radiomics for the Characterization and Genetic Orientation of Pheochromocytomas Before Surgery.

To assess the potential added value of FDG-PET/CT radiomics for the characterization of pheochromocytomas (PHEO) and their genetic orientation prior to surgery and genetic testing.

Local-mean preserving post-processing step for non-negativity enforcement in PET imaging: application to 90Y-PET.

In a low-statistics PET imaging context, the positive bias in regions of low activity is a burning issue. To overcome this problem, algorithms without the built-in non-negativity constraint may be used. They allow negative voxels in the image to reduce, or even to cancel the bias.

Rectal and Urethro-Vesical Subregions for Toxicity Prediction After Prostate Cancer Radiation Therapy: Validation of Voxel-Based Models…

Recent voxel-based studies have shown that the dose to specific rectal and urethro-vesical subregions is predictive of toxicities after prostate cancer intensity modulated radiation therapy.
